It's not the dumbest song I've ever gotten stuck in my head

But that would be hard to beat: when the kids were going through toilet training (centuries ago) I found myself walking through the halls of University Hospitals in my professional-director-of-anxiety-clinic role, singing "Yes, we're going to the potty, potty" OUT LOUD. Hopefully, I'll never beat that gold standard for dumb song to get stuck in head.

Maybe what bothers me is not so much that Vote Beeblebrox is a dumb song - in fact, it's so dumb, it's brilliant. What is a bit frightening is that I don't even mind having it stuck in my head. At least with the Potty Song, I had the grace to be embarrassed when I caught myself singing it out loud in inappropriate places. Now, I don't even mind when I catch myself singing "In no way is he stupid" or "He's smarter than you and he's better looking too" or "He has the longest hair of any candidate". Have I lost all sense of pride?

And how could they possibly have cut that song from the movie?! Just think, tons of people will never hear this song, just because they don't have the good sense to get the CD - Tragic!

I must insist that you go to yousendit.com so that I may share in your looniness. Because I'm sure I don't have enough sources of looniness on my own...

Now, you've caught me totally geek-less, so I'm not sure I can do this. I have it on ITunes, but I'll be darned if I know how to upload a song from ITunes. My mini-geek will be home for less than 24 hours tomorrow, so I'll see if she can help. But this makes me realize that, after that, I will be an entire month with no resident geek! How can I possibly cope?! (In the meantime, if anyone knows how to do this, let me know)

Eeeck! No geek?!? Oh dear!

Taking a song from itunes for general consuption is multi-stepped. I understand it's something like this: burn the song to a CD, rip it back as an MP3, and then you can go to your My Music folder and find the mp3 of the song (under an itunes folder, most likely) and use yousendit to find it on your computer. Voila! Or more like blahblahblah. She'll get all this, and without her, I would just go songless -- and I would cry one sad tear, and then I'd be over it and onto "There are FAR too many lumps in ths oatmeal!!"

I'm borrowing that CD! And I should return William Hung, though I might annoy Solomon with it a little first. Can I give it to you on the way to the event, or will it be too crowded?

Oh, we'd better check to make sure that Zan doesn't want to take it to Japan with her. It would probably be best for international relations if she leaves it at home, but you never know what Zan will want to do.

what, William Hung or hitchhiker's guide? I can bike over and give you william hung, and I don't need hitchhiker's guide any time soon.

Not to worry - I meant the William Hung, but Zan didn't feel the need to bring it. So you can feel free to torment Solomon with it for another month.

thank you, I will
