Movie night
Apr. 30th, 2007 11:58 amWe finally made it to one of Fitz's movie nights and it was a lot of fun. Good food, excellent company, fun movies. Everyone brought a movie and we picked randomly (with vetoes allowed). We watched "The Fifth Element" which suited my mood exactly - a fun spoof with some hysterical moments.
The 2nd movie was "Rocky Horror"- I'm not sure if it's because it needs to be seen in a large theater with all the hoopla attached, or if I'm just getting old - but it just seemed silly and rather stupid. Someone in the past recommended that Vreile see it at home on DVD for the first time, then go to a wild theater showing for the 2nd viewing. I'm not sure I agree - I think maybe the theater audience is what makes it. And it's not like she'll miss some deep message if she doesn't catch everything due to the theater craziness.
