A most excellent event . . .
Jan. 29th, 2014 02:58 pmTrue, the weather was dreadful and the drives both to and from Medina were downright scary.
But Cynwrig's rapier tournaments were fun, people were in a good mood, and it was very pleasant (if tiring) to run the rapier list.
The highlight of the event for me was that Cynwrig and I were asked to sit at the head table (for the first time ever!) I confess that at first I thought that it might be dull (after all, we are comparing it to Bork ^_^) But I forgot that we would be sitting with Calum (silly me!) We were introduced to the tradition of silly, non-messy, pun-related food fights. Bork and Chisato were worthy opponents, the feast was fabulous (as always), and the evening was very entertaining.
And there are leftovers tonight!
