Tickit used to always want to be with her human "pack"

Recently, she will sometimes dash merrily upstairs by herself and curl up either on our bed or under it in the middle of the day. Doggie equivalent of hibernation? Feeling secure enough after 7 months with us that she no longer needs to be with us every second? Adolescent asserting her independence? All of the above? She's fine and happy, so it doesn't really matter, but it's fun to try to understand what is going on in her cute little head.
