and he may just be right. After listening to the words of songs by Dar Williams and Ani Difranco all the way to and from the westside, I have started to view things from a more poetic point of view. It may also have to do with all this focus on mindfulness and Eastern philosophy at work. Or the fact that this is a gorgeous Spring. Don't worry - I have no intention of actually starting to write poetry - but I'm really enjoying capturing specific moments in my mind. There might really be something to this mindfulness stuff!
Or it could just demonstrate how much my moods are effected by music. I recall that after listening to Girlyman concert cd's (again on the way to and from the westside), I was in a very silly and giddy mood. Whatever - I'm having fun.
