although I imagine that I was simply expecting too much. I'm so attached to the books, which doesn't help. But I felt more positive about the Lord of the Rings movies and I was totally attached to the books as well. The Narnia movie was certainly well done, but I felt that Susan and Peter took way too long to get with the program - heck, if you are going to have people whining about getting back home, you might as well have parents along!
That said, I'm glad that we finally did get to see Narnia. It ended up being a lovely, relaxing Sunday. We actually got to sleep in (which we all greatly needed). J was exhausted enough to skip rapier in the evening, so we got a full evening to play Civ (I finally beat the Greeks!), sew, and finish another episode of Firefly - what more could you ask?!
Has everyone filled out the Firefly Season 2 survey (at fireflyseason2.com, I believe)? I know that I will go into withdrawal when we eventually finish the series and the movie - I'll keep my fingers crossed that there actually will be a series 2.
