Not a letdown at all

I was afraid that there would be a major SCA letdown once we no longer had Cleftlands royalty (and I'm sure that things will feel very different once we have court - especially once the evil Felix is King). But, for now, it just feels good to be back to normal at Cleftlands. Noelle is so happy to be able to return to non-royal life that it is contagious. For the past year, she has been elegantly regal - so it was refreshing to see her this week with pigtails, bouncing around and looking like an adorable, perky eight-year-old. She also started up the Musician's Guild again and it felt great to be singling again. So, royal or not, Cleftlands will continue to be a great place to be (and we will probably even survive another Felix reign).
