Zan's back!

Z is back from Japan and it is wonderful to see her again! I figured that she would be exhausted and (possibly) cranky from the time difference and the endless flight, but that wasn't true at all. They planned it well by staying up all night the night before and then sleeping on the plane, so she actually had some energy once she got home. We spent hours talking about her trip - one of my absolute favorite things to do. And we still only got partway though it. And eventually there will also be pictures to go through. She kept a great journal, so by the time we get through it all, I'm think I'm going to have a good picture of the trip.

It's interesting how different X and Z are in their descriptions: Z talks a lot more about the people and relationships involved. It's all fascinating to me - there's nothing I like more than getting a glimpse into my kids' lives!
