25 years!

Yes, I have actually been married 25 years! (I was an infant bride, of course). I can honestly say that it just gets better and better. And I fully intend to be saying the same thing in 25 more years. (not even unrealistic - J's parents have been married 55 years already and my dentist has been married 56 years). And, (unusual for us), we both remembered the date! Celebrations will ensue over the long weekend and, quite possibly, all fall.

I routinely tell people that I got married when I was five.

I hope you get to do something memorable to celebrate 25 years. Lots of people would love to be as fortunate as you both are. Any big trip plans?

Actually, this summer was busy enough that our idea of a celebration is to relax at home. We will likely fit in a weekend at a bed and breakfast sometime and have some romantic meals out - but unscheduled time is such a treat that we plan to savor it! (I realize that that sounds old and dull, but we really are having fun!)
