I am not ready for this . . .

Zan and her friends are planning to go cosmic bowling on Friday night. Fine. I ask what the plans are for transportation. She pauses and says, "Well Patrick can drive. And so can Ayla". Not fine.

Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with any of Zan's friends. And I'm sure that they are fine drivers. But. . . .

On the other hand, this is a great strategy to get parents to volunteer to drive.
